The Housing Locator serves individuals within Pierce County who are seeking housing options through our Rapid Rehousing Program. The position involves administrative support, client intake, and resource navigation, as well as building relationships with landlords and other community partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, Associate's degree required
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience providing housing related services
- Experience respectfully and effectively engaging with diverse populations
- Experience developing, maintaining, and navigating databases
- Strong time management skills; ability to self-direct
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Driver's license, liability insurance, and a reliable vehicle; ability to transport clients
- Ability to meet clients at locations in the community
