Intern Senior Resident Services Coordinator

Metropolitan Family Services empowers families to learn, to earn, to heal, to thrive. We are seeking a Student Intern to support our Senior Resident Service Coordinator Team at our Calumet Center.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level program in social work or a related field
• Bi-lingual recommended
• Requires mobility to work with senior caseload
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
• Provide a high level of customer service to residents, partners, funders, visitors etc.
• Excellent skills in a wide array of computer software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including knowledge of grammar and spelling, and ability to compose documents and letters and to proofread and edit documents as needed
• Ability to work both individually and as a team member in a highly complex and face-paced environment
• Excellent tact, consideration, and good judgement in dealing with a wide range of the public
