Job Description
The Department of Nutrition at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for temporary, part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. The primary responsibility is to teach one or more credit hours in undergraduate and graduate courses, including Introduction to Nutrition, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Community Nutrition, and others.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field to teach undergraduate level courses
- Doctorate in Nutrition or related field is required to teach graduate level courses
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
- Two years of teaching experience relevant to one or more of the content areas
- Previous experience in teaching in an online environment
- Experience with diverse, historically underrepresented and/or first-generation college students
