Lecturer in Nutrition (.5 FTE)

The Department of Nutrition at MSU Denver seeks a part-time faculty lecturer to teach courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs in Nutrition and Dietetics. The lecturer will be required to teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per academic year and maintain 2.5 office hours per week. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse urban non-traditional population.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, Food & Nutrition, Food Science/Technology, Public Health Nutrition or other Nutrition-related fields
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and at least 2 years of work experience in nutrition practice
• Previous teaching experience at the college level and experience with teaching in a variety of formats (face-to-face, online synchronous, online asynchronous)
• Earned doctorate
• 3 or more years of work experience in nutrition practice
