Job Description
The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) is seeking a motivated student for an internship within the Office of the Board of Commissioners. This role offers the opportunity to work under the direction of the Director of Public Engagement to support the Commissioner's media, messaging, and public outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital platforms.
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Basic video editing skills
- Familiarity with local government
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker who can translate complex policy topics into accessible, engaging content.
