Sales Account Manager

Meyer Distributing is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Jasper team. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for all inside sales functions, including inbound/outbound telephone calls and the processing of sales documents.

Requirements

• Prior automotive parts knowledge needed or significant inside sales experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication and telephone skills
• Ability to communicate on the phone 90 percent or more of shift
• Ability to understand customer’s current needs and anticipate future customer requirements
• Ability to give special attention to detail required
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Planning/organizing and follow up skills —the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans and follows up to ensure compliance
• Experience with Microsoft Windows preferred
• Excellent negotiating abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
