Job Description
MHY Family Services is seeking a Blended Mental Health Therapist to join our team to support our Multisystemic Therapy (MST) program. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, entrepreneurial spirit, and be invested in evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Maintains a caseload of children and their families as assigned by the supervisor
- Provides home-based sessions with clients and families as scheduled
- Completes all documentation within one week of its reporting period
- Conducts individual therapy sessions for clients as required
- Applies the reasonable and prudent parent standard to decisions involving the participation of a child in age or developmentally-appropriate activities
- Facilitates group therapy session including the documentation of group notes for each resident
- Supports and ensures the delivery of treatment recommendations as set forth by the psychiatrist and treatment team
- Completes referrals as needed for outside providers and submit to appropriate provider
- Collaborates with all referral sources
- Attends group and team meetings as required
