Clinical Mental Health Therapist (Clarion, Forest, Venango)

MHY Family Services is looking for a Clinical Mental Health Therapist to support their Multisystemic Therapy (MST) program, working with at-risk youth and their families. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree, experience in youth direct care services, and a strong work ethic. The position offers a flexible schedule, paid mileage and cell phone, and tuition reimbursement.

Requirements

• Maintains a caseload of children and their families as assigned by the supervisor
• Provides home-based sessions with clients and families as scheduled
• Completes all documentation within one week of its reporting period
• Conducts individual therapy sessions for clients as required
• Applies the reasonable and prudent parent standard to decisions involving the participation of a child in age or developmentally-appropriate activities
• Facilitates group therapy session including the documentation of group notes for each resident
• Supports and ensures the delivery of treatment recommendations as set forth by the psychiatrist and treatment team
• Collaborates with all referral sources
• Attends group and team meetings as required
• Has a concrete knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care as applied to high risk groups
