Architecture Principal - Mid-Atlantic

Michael Baker International is seeking an Architecture Principal to provide strategic leadership for our Alexandria, Baltimore, and Columbia Architecture Teams. The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect with proven experience in delivering architectural and engineering programs and projects. This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to foster new and reinforce existing relationships internally with colleagues and externally with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or related field
• 20 years of experience in design, documentation, and management of multi-disciplinary architecture/building engineering projects
• Strong leadership and business leadership skills
• Experience with Design/Build and alternate project delivery methods
• Comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary relationships between technical resources, clients, and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Business development experience, including RFP research and development of written and graphic marketing materials
