Job Description
Join Michael Baker International as a Civil Engineer - Highway/Roadway in our New Jersey Operations. Assist and lead the design and development of roadway design tasks and plans preparation. Experience with NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, NJTPA, and PANYNJ is preferred. Work in a hybrid environment, working out of our Newark or Hamilton NJ offices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required
- Masters in Transportation Engineering or a related field is preferred
- 4 to 7+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience
- PE License in NJ and/or NY, required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate and be on-track to obtain a PE License within one year, applicable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
