Civil Engineer - Transportation

The Michael Baker Philadelphia Operations has an open position for a Senior Highway Engineer in the Philadelphia Operations Highway/Roadway Department. The successful candidate will have the ability to assist and lead the design and development of roadway design tasks and plans preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, masters in Transportation Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience.
• PE License in PA is required.
• Experience in preparing Preliminary Engineering to Final Design Plans is required. Post Design is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in transportation design engineering software such as AUTOCAD, Bentley MicroStation, Inroads V8i, ORD, and Scheduling is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
