Job Description
Michael Baker International is seeking a Rail Track Civil Associate to join our team in Cleveland, OH or Pittsburgh, PA. The position involves working under the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager to develop track and civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various rail projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Pursuing Fundamentals of Engineering exam with ability to obtain EIT within 6 months of hire
- 0-2 years of engineering experience; rail experience / interest preferred
- Proficiency with CAD (MicroStation & AutoCAD), Microsoft Office
- InRoads/ InRail/ OpenRail experience is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation
- Strong interest in railroad design
- Desire to obtain PE
