Event Coordinator

Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events in Michaels stores, providing a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. They also deliver excellent customer service, manage operational tasks, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Plan and coordinate events
• Engage with clients and customers
• Demonstrate and instruct craft projects
• Facilitate party add-ons
• Communicate events with clients and store team members
• Complete administrative tasks
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback
• Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
• Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
