Events Coordinator/Birthday Host

As an Events Coordinator/Birthday Host at Michaels, you will plan and coordinate events, provide excellent customer service, and maintain store recovery standards. You will engage with clients of all ages, facilitate events, and ensure client satisfaction. You will also help customers shop, locate products, and provide fast and friendly checkout experience.

Requirements

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once
• Engage with clients of all ages
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons
• Communicate events with clients and store team members
• Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs
• Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
• Help customers shop and locate products
• Educate customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and Company programs
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
