Party and Event Host

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events within a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service and complete operational tasks to deliver our Brand Promises.

Requirements

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once
• Engage with clients of all ages
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons
• Communicate events with clients and store team members
• Complete administrative tasks
• Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback
• Create backup or emergency plans
• Uphold company’s cleanliness and safety standards
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide fast and friendly check out experience
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
• Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members
• Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
