Party & Event Host

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events, including kids' birthday parties, within a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service, complete operational tasks, and maintain store recovery standards.

Requirements

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once
• Engage with clients of all ages
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons
• Communicate events with clients and store team members
• Complete administrative tasks
• Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback
• Create backup or emergency plans
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
• Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Assist with Omni channel processes
• Participate in the truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
