Retail Party and Events Coordinator

Retail Party and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events at a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. The role also involves delivering friendly customer service, completing operational tasks, and maintaining store recovery standards.

Requirements

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons
• Communicate events with clients and store team members
• Complete administrative tasks
• Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback and needs
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
• Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
