Job Description
Join MicroHarvest as a Process Engineer and contribute to the development of sustainable protein production using microorganisms. You will work closely with experienced leaders and have the opportunity to grow into a key operations leader as the company expands. Responsibilities include managing production at a CMO, preparing for the first industrial plant, and developing a strong operational mindset.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial production or plant engineering (biotech, fermentation, food, or chemical industry)
- Experience in process troubleshooting and optimization in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and manage operational topics with external partners
- Willingsness to travel regularly to production sites
- Willingsness to relocate to the Halle/Leipzig area
- Native Level German and English (additional languages are a plus)
