Job Description
Micron Technology is seeking a Principal Category Supplier Manager to join their Indirect Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the global IT and Professional Services at one of the world's largest semiconductor companies. This is a fast-paced and critical area that requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure a robust and efficient supply chain
- Source solutions and services, including research on software, IT hardware, and service offerings
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive savings, value, assurance of supply, quality, and supplier performance
- Negotiate with suppliers and complete contracts with suppliers
- Run Micron's relationship with key suppliers and hold them accountable for performance
