Sr Physical Design

Micron Technology is seeking a Sr Physical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of digital components for DRAM in advanced memory products. The role will involve managing physical build starting at floorplanning and continuing to tape-out, and working with RTL, verification, and CAD teams to develop high-quality, manufacturable solutions.

Requirements

• Contribute as a senior individual contributor responsible for physical design of DRAM digital blocks using advanced RTL-to-GDS flows.
• Implement high-performance, power- and area-efficient physical designs including floorplanning, place and route, and clock tree synthesis.
• Perform physical design signoff activities including static timing analysis, signal integrity, power integrity, and physical verification.
• Collaborate closely with RTL and implementation teams to resolve timing, power, and integration challenges.
• Apply power-, clock-, and implementation-aware physical design practices to reduce silicon risk and downstream iterations.
