Sr Physical Design

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Physical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of digital components for DRAM in advanced memory products. The role involves managing physical build, working with RTL, verification, and CAD teams, and achieving aggressive power, performance, and area (PPA) targets using advanced RTL-to-GDS implementation flows.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of ASIC physical design experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering physical design for complex digital blocks from floorplanning through tape-out
• Hands-on experience with place and route, clock tree synthesis, and timing closure in advanced process technologies
• Strong knowledge of physical design signoff including STA, signal integrity, power integrity, and physical verification
• Experience using industry-standard physical design tools such as Synopsys ICC2 or Fusion Compiler and PrimeTime
