Microsoft Advertising is seeking a Senior Analytical Lead to generate insights and recommendations that directly benefit clients and enhance their business performance. The role involves synthesizing industry knowledge, digital marketing expertise, and advanced analytical methods to craft compelling data stories.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in statistics, mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering, computer science, marketing, business, data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, business and financial analysis, or related field
- 6+ years experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, R, SQL for data manipulation and visualization on large datasets
- 4+ years in a partner or account management/client service/client-facing role
- Experience in digital media, data analysis, and data management
- Dynamic and creative critical thinking skills, with an ability to think outside of the box
- Programmatic/advertising industry experience
- Solid ability to communicate complex analyses to a mix of both technical and non-technical partners and clients
- Experience utilizing analytical tools to turn massive, dynamic datasets into actionable insights
- Comfort and enjoyment with working in ambiguous environments
- Solid communication skills to work with partners in various areas of Microsoft Advertising
- Experience pairing data visualization with storytelling to deliver persuasive presentations that influence varying audience levels
- Experience and proficiency using PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, SQL for data manipulation and visualization. Working knowledge and familiarity in a combination of the following data manipulation and visualization tools: Python, R, PowerPivot, Microsoft Advertising API
- Working knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling and data clustering/classification techniques
