Nurse Practitioner(Psychiatric)

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing clinical care to program clients seeking mental health services. The incumbent must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and understanding of how culture influences and impacts behavioral health services while incorporating this understanding into trauma-informed care.

Requirements

• Professional licensure in the State of Oregon as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) with a specialty in Psychiatric and Mental Health
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
• Current certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support
• Experience in a psychiatric or community behavioral health setting is preferred
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English is preferred
• Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200 to 407-007-0370
• Must possess a valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and be insurable for client service purposes and for travel between business offices, meetings and/or trainings
