Civil Process Deputy Enforcement Unit

The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Civil Process Deputy / Enforcement Unit to research and conduct arrests, perform business and property seizures, and keep the peace during evictions and administrative search warrants. The selected candidate will work in the Civil Process Office in Chelmsford, MA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice preferred
• Municipal Police Training Committee (“MPTC”) training certification or MPTC Exemption
• MA Peace Officer Standards and Training (“POST”) Commission certification
• Working knowledge and application of state civil litigation laws
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
