Job Description
The Technician fulfills an important role in providing data that is critical to the doctor in order to provide proper care and treatment to each patient. They are responsible for various administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, performing preliminary and ancillary testing, scheduling patients, preparing the exam room, and assisting the doctors with any exam needs.
Requirements
- Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
- Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
- Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
