The Substation Engineering I will contribute to electrical designs, physical layout designs, and calculations. They are responsible for the delivery of substation systems for high voltage substation projects. Typical projects include working with civil engineering teams to assist in developing efficient and reliable solutions for intricate substation projects.
Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- 0-2 years of substation design engineering experience.
- Proven ability to consistently produce high quality of work.
- Understands basic design standards and calculations
- Follows established procedures and checklists
- Communicates status updates clearly to supervisor
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Meets deadlines with oversight
- Understands safety and compliance expectations
- Communicates status updates clearly to leader & or project manager
- Demonstrates accountability for assigned tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel as well as ACAD or MicroStation and Revit.
