Job Description
We are seeking a Full time Urdu, Punjabi Interpreter & Translator to join our team. The role requires consecutive interpretation and translation services in various settings, including mental health, GP practices, hospitals, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English and fluency in Urdu and Punjabi, as well as relevant qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Full UK driver's license and access to own vehicle
- Current, valid Enhanced CRB clearance
- References to verify interpreting and translation experience
- Fluency in English and culturally competent in native language(s)
- Minimum 1 year's professional experience as an interpreter
- Minimum 200 hours previous experience working as an interpreter, ideally in the public sector
- Two references for previous completed projects relating to translation specialism
