Data and Application Integration Engineer

Milliman is seeking a Data and Application Integration Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and seamless migration of data throughout a major business transformation program. The role will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to design, develop, and implement scalable application integrations, migrate legacy integration processes, and ensure compliance with data governance, data privacy, and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in application integration or systems engineering, preferably supporting large-scale system implementations
• Experience in data and app integration tools like Azure Data Factory, Boomi, Snaplogic, Workato etc. application integration tools
• Proficiency with SQL, Python and experience working with relational databases.
• Strong experience with data analysis, data profiling, data mapping, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, tools, and automation pipelines.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
