Design Engineer II responsible for contributing to the design and development of new products and support of existing products, with a focus on disrupting the construction industry with innovative technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or similar field.
- 2+ years of experience in related design field.
- Experience in participating or leading cross functional team meetings.
- GD&T and DFM experience.
- Proficiency in 3DCAD – NX, SolidWorks, ANSYS, ProE, or similar as well as FEA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
- Knowledge of engineering materials, mechanical properties and an understanding of the manufacturing processes associated with these materials.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point.
- Willingness to learn skill sets outside primary discipline.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
