Designer II

We are looking for a mechanical designer passionate about automation, team collaboration, and product testing to develop innovative automated test systems, define test system requirements, and create CAD models and drawings of system assemblies, components, and systems.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Design/Drafting or Mechanical Design of Technology
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in mechanical design utilizing CAD - SolidWorks or NX
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes
• Hands on experience with building, integrating, and debugging industrial systems
• Experience with incorporating hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
• Experience with FEA preferred
• Mechanical aptitude in the following areas: engineering materials, mechanical properties and an understanding of the manufacturing processes associated with these materials
• Growth mindset that drives personal development
• High interest in tools of the construction trades
• Willing to travel internationally (less than 10%)
