Curriculum Advisor

We are seeking a Curriculum Advisor to help shape the future of education and support high-quality teaching and learning. As a Curriculum Advisor, you will work directly with schools, kura, and early learning services to implement curriculum and assessment changes. You will provide advice to leadership teams, teachers, and kaiako on implementing curriculum and assessment changes taking a whole school approach.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the science of learning and the effective teaching practices needed to enact the knowledge rich curriculum
• Strong, proven expertise in whole school curriculum planning and delivery
• Effective curriculum design expertise and a deep working knowledge and practical experience in teaching and learning using National Curriculum
• Familiarity with te ao Māori and understanding of Te Reo, tikanga, and mātauranga Māori
