Job Description
Minor Hotels is seeking a Sous Chef to join the AVANI Adelaide Residences kitchen team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including overseeing a small team of 3 chefs, ensuring food quality, controlling wastage, and maintaining tight controls on COGs.
Requirements
- Relevant Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Minimum two years' experience working as a Sous Chef
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience motivating and managing a skilled and diverse team
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
