Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and create documentation for specialized nuclear fabrications, ensuring they meet strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, project management, manufacturing, and quality assurance within a highly regulated environment.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include performing Engineering analysis, developing manufacturing process plans, reviewing designs and shop capabilities, and coordinating with departmental teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet all requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Applied Science
• Mechanical Engineering Technologist Diploma
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) from Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
• Minimum 5+ years engineering experience in the nuclear or similar industry
• Prior exposure to nuclear instrumentation strongly preferred
• Experience in a custom fabrication or manufacturing environment necessary

Benefits

• Salary: $95,000 - 105,000 CAD
