Business Development Manager responsible for representing a growing, respected brand and building long-term customer partnerships in the Western US & Canada. Identifies and engages current and potential customers, promoting products and growing sales.
Requirements
- Prospect leads and grows sales with current and prospective accounts within an assigned territory
- Conduct in-person visits to potential and existing customers to present product line, share brand knowledge, and demonstrate value
- Negotiate contracts, sales terms, and agreements on alignment with company guidelines
- Work with internal sales to establish new accounts and ensure smooth onboarding for new customers
- Provide ongoing education, training, and support to customers on promotions and sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and account details in CRM or reporting tools
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions
- Manage a sales pipeline
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention
