As a Housing Case Manager, you will support families, women, and children to achieve stability, independence, and improved wellbeing within a safe and secure environment. Work under general direction to apply specialized case management expertise and support clients navigating housing instability, homelessness, and broader life challenges.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification (minimum Certificate IV preferred) or degree in community/human services with demonstrated experience in case management
- Strong experience working with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and CALD clients
- Sound understanding of homelessness, housing instability, and associated challenges such as family violence, mental health and substance use
- Demonstrated ability to deliver trauma-informed care and manage complex client needs autonomously
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
- Cultural capability, resilience, and emotional intelligence to work effectively with vulnerable clients in challenging and at times confronting environments
