Community Development Worker

Make a meaningful difference to the lives of Australians in need as a Community Development Worker at Mission Australia. Requirements

• Experience in homelessness services, youth work, housing support or community services including work in remote or regional settings
• Strong cultural awareness and experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
• Relevant qualification such as a Certificate IV or higher in Community Services or equivalent experience with at least 1 year supporting participants with complex needs
• Demonstrated community development experience of at least two years including the design and facilitation of community programs and group activities
• Full driver licence with no restrictions
