The Mission Neighborhood Health Center is a non-profit, multi-site community health organization seeking a qualified candidate for the Accounting Manager position. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for providing financial leadership and expertise for the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3 years of experience as a manager in the finance department of a nonprofit
- Strong experience with Sage 100 fund accounting software
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including VLOOKUP and macros
- Strong computer and analytical skills, particularly with accounting and financial software
- Ability to set priorities and performance standards and develop actionable plans to accomplish goals
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
