Controller

The Mission Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a qualified candidate for its Controller position. The Controller provides financial leadership and oversees day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and integrity. Responsibilities include managing month- and year-end close processes, tax reporting, grant budgets and invoices, payroll, accounts payable, procurement, and preparation of audit worksheets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Active CPA licensure in the state of California
• 8 years of overall accounting experience
• 3 years of experience as a Controller
• 3 years of management experience in the finance department of nonprofit
