Application Engineer (m,w,d)

Primetals Technologies Limited is seeking an Application Engineer to join their global team in Oberhausen, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating offers, planning and processing tender documents, and participating in projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable field, as well as in-depth knowledge of automation systems and excellent language skills.

Requirements

• Successfully completed study of electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable focus
• In-depth knowledge of automation systems (switchgear, drive technology, control and control systems)
• Desirable experience in technical sales or in offer preparation and/or in electrical engineering
• Willingness to travel, driving license class B
• Excellent German and good English language skills
