Senior Director, Clinical Development

Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Development America (MTDA) is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Development to lead the full development team in designing, planning, implementing and executing clinical trials and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical trial design, drug R&D successes, and experience managing global, cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD
• 7+ years clinical development experience
• Strong background in clinical trial design
• Proven history of drug R&D successes
• Experience in GI (gastrointestinal) preferred
• Experience managing/leading global, cross-functional teams preferred
• High level of expertise working under local and international clinical and regulatory requirements
• Superior interpersonal skills and multicultural awareness
• Superb leadership, mentoring and motivational skills
• Well-honed project management skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality and on-time deliverables
• Analytical and scientific mind with business acumen
• Outstanding writing skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
