Supervisor, Manufacturing

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for directing Team Leads and Team Members in accomplishing manufacturing responsibilities. The Manufacturing Supervisor manages their team (manufacturing lines, cells, or areas) as an operational team with responsibility for accomplishing company goals and targets in accordance with company policies, manufacturing standards and methods, quality standards for safety, product quality, customer satisfaction, accuracy, productivity, cost reduction, housekeeping, efficiency, training, teamwork and morale.

Requirements

• HS diploma; minimum of three years supervisory experience in manufacturing/medical device environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures, and understanding of manufacturing type work. Capital equipment production is preferred and knowledge of sewing and die cutting of foam, fabrics, and other soft goods materials is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams focusing on motivation, collaboration, planning, and problem solving to encourage engagement and achieve team results.
• Experience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Knowledge of production control concepts and technical competence.
• Understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement concepts.
