Associate Corporate Counsel

We are seeking a pragmatic Associate Corporate Counsel to advise on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with vendors and serve as a trusted legal advisor to Supply Chain, Information Technology, and other functions and business units.

Requirements

• JD degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school and admitted in good standing to practice law in at least one state in the U.S.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial law (in-house legal department preferred)
• Must have demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, particularly SaaS and other IT contracts.
• Experience with technology R&D and manufacturing companies preferred
• Experience with data privacy laws preferred
• Ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice in a business-focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Comfortable balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive and ability to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
