Senior Platform Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance)

MKS2 Technologies is an award-winning high growth small business creating innovative technology solutions. The Senior Platform Engineer will design, implement, and modernize Linux-based infrastructure in support of defense operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or related STEM field
• 5+ years of related work experience in Linux infrastructure engineering or system administration
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required on day one (U.S. citizenship required)
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)
• Strong scripting experience in Bash, Python, Java, Perl, Ruby, or Tcl/Tk
• Familiarity with markup and configuration languages (YML, XML, JSON)
• Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Bitbucket
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Experience deploying, maintaining, and integrating software in secure or production environments
