Senior Software Platform Engineer

SciTec, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Platform Engineer to support the integration and deployment of applications into containerized PaaS environments. The role focuses on building, operating, and evolving platform capabilities to enable development teams to reliably deploy, operate, and scale applications in containerized environments.

Requirements

• Active DoD security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or a related role
• 3+ years of experience administering Linux systems
• 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with artifact management and version control systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems
• Ability to work 100% on-site at a customer location
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
