Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for conducting health assessments, making differential diagnosis, and prescribing treatments. They promote optimum health, prevent illness and injury, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and NP in state of practice
- Nationally Certified as FNP, ANP, or AGNP by AANP or ANCC
- Valid NPI
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Current DEA license to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice
- Current DOT medical examiner certification
