Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner uses clinical judgments to conduct health assessments, make differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments. They promote optimum health, prevent illness and injury, and complete employer service exams. They are responsible for clinical oversight and health center consultation regarding administration of health care policy and procedure of the delivery of services.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and NP in state of practice
- Nationally Certified as FNP, ANP, or AGNP by AANP or ANCC
- Valid NPI
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Current DEA license to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice
- Current DOT medical examiner certification
