Physician Assistant Certified (Per Diem)

The Physician Assistant will use clinical judgments to conduct health assessments, make differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments. The PA will promote optimum health, prevent illness and injury, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in state of practice.
• Nationally Certified as PA-C by NCCPA.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Current DEA license to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice.
• Valid NPI
• Current DOT medical examiner certification.
• Master's degree required.
• At least one year (three years preferred) of clinical experience as a PA in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, urgent care, or emergency department setting.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to train ancillary support staff on clinical skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
