Job Description
We are looking for a Squad Lead Full Stack to join our Engineering team at Modulr, a fast-growing payments business in the UK and Europe. The role will involve building an autonomous, high-performing squad to deliver excellence in software development, driving efficiency and high-quality product delivery. The successful candidate will have expertise in both Frontend and Backend development, experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, and a strong understanding of DevOps practices and processes.
Requirements
- Manage and lead a squad of approximately six software engineers
- Hands-on in supporting the team through each phase of the development process
- Squad planning and delegation to ensure the team have clearly defined responsibilities
- Ensure your squad holds engaged, efficient and productive agile ceremonies
- Set and track individual/team performance goals
- Promoting high standards of code quality through code reviews and technical direction
- Play a key role in the hiring process
- Foster a culture of experimentation within the squad
