Emergency Department Technician - Per Diem

The Emergency Department Technician at MCH plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Emergency Department. This position supports the clinical and operational functions of the department and requires a commitment to detail, organization, and compassionate patient care.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to determine phlebotomy technique appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
• Must adhere to hospital policy addressing standard precautions, safety regulations and guidelines.
• Must participate in continuing education, department in service meetings and performance improvement activities.
