Job Description
The Machine Shop Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations, develop and improve manufacturing processes, and coordinate production times and staffing requirements.
Requirements
- Develop machine shop team to work efficiently
- Oversee team production to ensure best utilization of resources and machine scheduling and quality output
- Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines
- Work closely with Process Supervisor to manage machine output and programming
- Communicate closely with engineering team to develop best practices for manufacturability of parts
- Enforce and follow workplace safety standards
- Assist team members in other areas if needed to meet daily production goals
- Assist in problem-solving and continuous improvement in the machine shop
